As the title for SAVE purposes indicates, you're on an ex-tended left base for Runway 09 at Tampa International. And what a vista! Only fitting for western Florida's sprawlingest town, where they brew beer, manufacture cigars in the country's biggest cigar factory, and export more phosphate than any port in the world. In addition, Tampa is a major hub for the citrus industry, was a shipbuilding center in World War II, and is home of Florida's biggest shrimp fleet. Finally, just south of town is MacDill, one of the nation's largest Air Force bases.

That blaze of light ahead isn't highways, but bridges. We'll see more of them in the next couple of scenarios.

For now, proceed with your approach to Runway 09, shortest strip on Tampa International. Elevation is 34 feet.
