This and the next glider are lifesize, thus providing far smaller targets. You and the Buffalo glider are approaching each other virtually head-on. (You may want to try a "peaceful" pass the first time, observing that this relationship makes the glider appear to be moving at high speed through the sky--check it out the rear.)

The head-on approach, like the overtaking approach, makes a very slim target. Contact altitude is approximately your altitude at the outset, if all goes well.
